🚫 Hands off our weed!
The law says that tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is so dangerous that it needs to be controlled for your protection. Actually, the law has protected profits and business investments since prohibition was imposed about 100 years ago, thanks to the US Robber Barons lobbying for a business advantage.
Cannabis was grouped with morphine, cocaine and heroin, despite Cannabis’s use as a medicine or remedy at the time. The Marihuana Tax Act of 1937 was a United States Act that placed a tax on the sale of Cannabis and was drafted by Harry Anslinger after a convincing propaganda campaign that associated Cannabis use with madness and depravity. Farmers who grew the same species for food and industry became criminals, and federal laws continue to classify the THC found in Cannabis as a dangerous drug.
The law is the crime! Prohibition isn’t stopping anyone. It’s time to rethink the system and stop wasting resources on a failed strategy. Let’s push for smarter, evidence-based reform that actually reflects reality. Change the law.
